In a candid interview on OYINMOMO TV, the acclaimed actor revealed how President Bola Tinubu and his wife, First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, stepped in to save his life after a serious car accident.The incident, which occurred several years ago, left Balogun in critical condition.
After receiving initial treatment in Nigeria, his health required more advanced care that wasn’t immediately accessible locally. That’s when the Tinubus intervened decisively. “When I had an accident, President Tinubu and his wife stepped in and asked that I be taken abroad for treatment,” Balogun recounted. “I was well treated in Nigeria, but they insisted on flying me overseas for specialised care.”
The actor described the First Lady’s personal touch as unforgettable. Remi Tinubu stayed in regular contact, checking on his progress and recovery.
