HAM VOLUNTEERS DECLARES THREE-DAY MOURNING IN HONOUR OF OUR BELOVED LEADER
It is with profound grief and heavy hearts that HAM Volunteers, under the leadership of our Founder, Hon. Adeniyi Adeyosoye (LA), announces the declaration of three (3) days of mourning in honour of our beloved leader, Hon. Dr. Akinola Felix (Obama), whose sudden passing has left an indelible void in our hearts and caused immense pain to us all.
Although our dear leader is no longer with us physically, his remarkable legacy, exemplary leadership, selfless service, and invaluable contributions will forever remain etched in our memories. In his honour, HAM Volunteers shall observe a period of mourning from Wednesday, 12th August to Friday, 14th August 2026.
Accordingly, all posts and activities our platforms are hereby suspended throughout the three-day mourning period. We urge all members to respect this solemn moment as we collectively mourn our departed leader and offer heartfelt prayers for the repose of his soul, as well as divine strength, comfort, and fortitude for his immediate family and loved ones.
We shall subsequently update the house on the burial arrangements and programme after due consultation with the bereaved family and other relevant stakeholders.
May the Almighty God grant our beloved leader eternal rest and give his family, friends, associates, and all of us the strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
Rest in peace, our dear leader. You will be sorely missed, but your legacy will live on.
